This was a real surprise, to test and program for this legendary Japanese company.
But the secret project was fascinating, a small/light keyboard with GREAT sound quality and rich programming options.
I worked from a very raw prototype, with taped-on paper labels and using an external laptop as the engine. But I loved the sounds that came out, and the fact that they kept the price WELL under $1000 was really incredible. Yes, it was not a heavy, steel beast like other keyboards, but it compared really well sonically and had great features.
I love that it weighs less than 2 pounds, so it's a go-to keyboard for travel work.
